You Inspire Me

You, you son…you are my inspiration
When I grow up, my dream is to be as you
It’s funny like that…I try teaching you so much
But constantly find myself learning from you
You taught me unconditional love and adoration
Unconditionally you have loved me with my flaws and then some
Instead of looking down on me, you look up to me
Instead of yelling at me (and you better not ever), you talk to me
Instead of fighting with me, you share with me
Instead of criticizing me, you believe in me
That is why I want to be like you
…you inspire me!

You, you son…you are my inspiration
The one constant of positive energy that fuels my soul
You are the brightest star on the darkest of nights leading me to the gold
You, you are that gold…that treasure…that eternal flame
Igniting an inspirational fuse with every speak of our name
You make me a better role model, a better man and a better dad
You are me son and I am you this is the relationship we have
I promise to be there for you always, no matter the circumstances or needs
You inspire me!
You are that special something that wakes me from the deepest of sleeps
You are my 365 ½ days and every day of my 52 weeks
You inspire me!
You are the wind beneath my wings, so I will glide forever
You are Des Juan, I am Des Juan, we are Des Juan — always together
You inspire me!

This is indeed an exemplary write that gives not only a model love but also a model relationship for father and son ... against the influence of an amoral global situation. One love, my friend. Good write.
