You Hold Us
Loving smile
Forgives my trespasses
Like waves erase the trampled sand clean
Gentle hands
Calloused like the Birch tree
Glide across my soft trembling landscape
Eyes sparkle
Like stars held in my heart
They carry your words without falling
Steadfast heart
Deep as the universe
Hold us safe in evening glow
