You Help Me Soar

You Helped Me Soar

When I’m blue
I come to you
You help me soar
Right off the floor
You hold the string as I fly
To ensure I don’t get to high
Yet when I tumble to the ground
You’re the first one around
To pick me up by my wings
To repair all broken things
You release the beauty that i hide

By showing off my insides
You gently reel me back in
When the air becomes too thin
My protector you seem to be
Always looking out for me
Though I have little to offer back
Your friendship never seems to lack
So I soar through the sky
Because you’ve given me air to fly

Thank you!
