You Held Me Mother

You held me…
You held me tight…
You held me tight inside of you
When no one else could

You kept me warm
You protected me
You touched me
You listened to me

You heard my heart beat
You saw my picture
You gave me life...

You held my hand
You told me it would all be ok
No matter what
You’ll always be there

You are my hero
You are my dream
You are the mother I want to be
