You Heartless Hypocrite

You heartless hypocrite!
                      In times of joy
               You diffuse your whispers
                      To create of an impression
               As though you care
                      About one to be victim
In the attention of the endangered
                     You keep utter silence
               And watch as he slips
Into the trap by you prepared
And when he sees he is falling
You appear as if to warn
Of the fall by yourself prepared
As you point his favorite deed
               Of which you deeply envy
                   As the apparent decoy
               That led to your trap
                  Callously imprisoning his mind
To hate himself and his deed
                  As he relentlessly fights again
               A futile battle against himself
Which rather his inner it kills
So you can see his death twice
As he wails in your bottomless pit
               You heartless, heartless hypocrite!!
