You Gave Me Wings

You gave me wings. But I refuse to fly; Around you my heart sings. Wholeheartedly you detached the strings; Although you knew your eyes won't stay dry; You gave me wings. Wishing me to live in eternal springs; You smiled at me hiding your sigh; Around you my heart sings. Knowing that the life is a ride in swings; Which runs between low and high; You gave me wings. I hear the bells of freedom that rings; Yet my soul refuses to say bye-bye; Around you my heart sings. Love is not about having luxurious things; But letting your lover shines freely as blue sky; You gave me wings; Around you my heart sings.
