You Found Your Sky
A bunch of joy you came to me in May,
in your deep eyes I saw sparkling blue play.
You played in my soft arms with my fingers,
across the years the warm touch still lingers.
You by my side we walked on the sea beach,
I saw your footsteps grow, mine you could reach.
The fairy tales I told before you slept,
carried me through childhood, in mind I kept.
The hued sunset you saw draping dusk sky,
from where to their cute nests the birds would fly.
Time came when you found your sky, and to say
goodbye to me last time, and fly away.
