You Fall - I Fall

You've seen my true face
Through a sorrowful guise,
You've dried my tears,
The thorns in my eyes,
I wish you could hold me
Each time when I cry -
You can deaden the pain.
I wish you were there,
On each step of the way,
You never let me down.

You're the only one left
Who I cherish and trust,
You're now the one
Who can put back the shards,
All together... of a heart,
Broken once, now all new,
Never thinking they're sharp,
Not afraid of the wounds,
Not afraid of my tears,
In this heart hope is you.

If you ever give up,
Then with you I will fall,
If you stay strong enough,
Then with you I will hold.
In your eyes see the dawn -
Till the end I will fight,
If you leave me alone -
Then enfeebled and blind.
You're the light...
If you fall, then I fall...
