You Don't Have To Be In Love
You don't have to be in love
To write a love poem,
But you must believe in love
To write one well.
You don't have to sing like Bing
To croon a love song,
But the tune you choose to croon
Should cast love's spell.
You don't have to woo with gold
To win a sweetheart,
Just let her know that she outshines
The stars above.
You don't have to be in love
To say I love you,
But you must believe you do
To be in love.
