You Do Not Hold

You do not hold my dreams
Is every thing what it seems
You do not hold my tears
Why erase all my fears

Looking at what could have been
I should of thought then
When I cried myself to sleep
The memories is what I keep

You do not hold these hands
Every thing is where it stands
You do not carry the pain
What is there to gain

How do I say good bye to yesterday
When our love went away
How does my heart mend
To the tears that I send
