You Did What

I left God at home today
As I did not pray
And to Him I had nothing to say
As I went about my own way

I didn't give Him any praise
In traveling about my many ways
Not even caring in what He says
Just trying to stay out of His gaze

But everywhere I had turned
For reason not yet discerned
Something inside began to yearn
For that Flame inside you will forever burn

So I turned back around
Though the clock could not be rewound
But now I do feel so sound
For it is my peace that I have found
