You Did Not Hear Me

Sitting in a corner alone,
crying, wishing you would come and hold me,
but you did not hear me.
I told you what happened,
why didn't you care enough,
did not come to my rescue...
Feelings of emptiness,
Sitting alone,
filled with sadness and fear,
it was me who cried,
you pretended that you didn't hear.
