You Deserve Better
I’m not what you need
You deserve better
All I ever did was hurt you
You told me you loved me
I didn’t reply
I was too scared to share how I felt
I never stopped loving you
We are not together but you are always on my mind
I wish I could go back and change what happened but I can’t
It’s too late
I never spoke up
I hid how I felt
I wish I would have told you how I felt
Now it’s too late you found someone who wasn’t afraid
I still love you
I hope the best for you even though we aren’t together
You mean the world to me and I hope that you knew it
I just want to see you smile
Your smile takes my pain away
I just want you to be happy
I just want you to have what you deserve
The same love you once shared with me.
