You Could Watch Me
Could you watch
Me watching paint
Dry and know
That everything
In me, is thinking-
Only you.
Could you know
That when my
Back is turned,
Even hell, in my
Body burns-
Only just for you.
Can you comprehend
That with you in my mind-
All reason, trust
And Knowledge;
I transcend.
More is something
I must feel; when you are
Not near- because
It’s only after then,
That I envision clear.
