You Can'T Stop God's Chosen
You can’t stop God’s plan for my life.
I’ve been through the same pain and strife,
That you are putting to work.
I must face the fact.
Yes, what you’re doing it does hurt,
But I’m glad that you see my worth.
I’ve been placed right here on planet Earth,
To do what I have to do for the glory of God,
To you I may seem quite odd.
I love you anyway so I say,
Keep playing the pitiful games you play.
It didn’t stop me then.
I’ll keep fighting to the end,
Whether I’m singing, dancing,
Writing, composing, or teaching.
I will with God’s aid,
I’ll win this fight.
While you are still finding ways,
To darken my days,
With your prancing, plotting,
And posing.
I’ll keep writing, singing,
Dancing, teaching, praying
Along with studying the
Word, and praising the Father’s name.
I’ll end up on top,
And your names will be put to shame.
I’m glad to stand up, say now,
And scream out loud,
Victory is mine,
And what you tried to
Do could not hinder my design.
So wear your appalling acts,
In the fashion that you chose to.
Go on with your games of the,
Back- stabbing,
Name-slashing,
And me- pocking.
You can’t stop me.
You can’t stop God’s chosen.
