You Can'T Hold Me Down
YOU CAN"T HOLD ME DOWN
In my life, I fought hard for
what I wanted.
It was never, not once for fame.
Following the crowd is the weakest
and oh, so very lame!
What I wanted and still do, till I die,
Is to sing my soul's song high as
I possibly can to the sky.
We all are so precious and unique,
That to see someone conform?
Brings a salty tear down my cheek.
