You Can Dress Him Up, But You Can'T Take Him Out

A bit of a trickster, but more like a treat;
with black tuxedo, he always looks neat,
but proper he isn’t – he naps in a bowl!
He’s learned from the fate of my brother who stole… ;)
so he won’t consume, but where will he hide
when goblins and ghouls lurk to see what’s inside?

Note: "my brother who stole" is a reference to two poems I posted just before this :)
