You Came To Me

You came to me in a dream this night,
Your facial features were clear.
You snuggled up to me very tight
I recognized you, didn’t fear.

I felt your pulse and breath on my eyes,
And there was nothing more important
Than our passionate whispers and sighs,
Than your arms and their rocking movement...

I forgot the long time without you
And couldn’t believe in your presence.
I still repeated, “It’s really true.”
You came to bring comfort and silence...
