You Broke My Heart

You broke my heart when you didn't Come see me on my fourth birthday You hurt me so bad, I cried and I don't Understand why you did me that way You promised me that you would come help Me with my gifts and cutting my birthday cake Among all of the other that you've don e in my life You lied to me, and that is just another mistake Everyday, I think to myself, and I alwayz wonder What my life would be like living with you Would you show me that you cared? Would you Show me love? Would you know what to do? When I think about the way my life started a young one I feel like I had been sold, because I wasn't wanted by anyone I hope you know that you broke my heart in so many ways I've a strong feeling that you didn't want me anyways It really never came to my mind that My heart would be broken by my own mother But I thank God for the gift of having another
