You Are What You Eat

You are what you eat.
Pig meat is for those who like
to wallow in it,

whatever "it" is .....
Beef eaters are fat, angry
methane producers.

You are what you eat:
fruits, grains and vegetables make
happy, healthy folks.

Great and well articulated arguments in this poem. I love the grandma phrase as a title and it is well fitted. It should make everyone want to eat right. God bless and have a wonderful holiday season.

If that's so, Sue, how come I'm still retaining my natural good scent (not to mention my good looks!!! ha ha) despite being a pork eater? And hey, beef eaters are not necessarily the worst methane producers around, potato eaters are!!! LOL Regards, Fred

how can you be so cruel. fruit, grains and vegetables are eaten alive. at lest my stake is dead when i start to eat it./ do you know the cost of vegetables most family's cant afford to eat vegetarian. fats are also a necessary part of the diet./ so would fruits, nuts and vegetables be for fruits, nuts and vegetables. but i do agree that pig is nasty.

I take you're vegetarian huh Sue. You should see 'Food Inc' if you haven't yet. The dark side of the food industry really shows how the meat in this country comes from very questionable sources.

Sue, I had to laugh. I used to tell my mother, "You are what you eat." She got a kick out of it but continued to consume pastry and fried food. She died young of clogged arteries, so I hope your more serious message gets through! Bless you, Carolyn
