You Are There

In the mist of the storms
When my heart has been torn
When rains have over taken me
And I find it hard to see…
When all I have known has been a lie
And I watch as time goes by
When there is sorrow in the air
And I find it hard to care…
When doubt has crept in
And I’m drowning in my sins
When despair has a name
And I am sick of all the games…
When I am fragmented and apart
And I question my beating heart
When I’ve been frozen in a memory
And I find out I’m the enemy…
When those who were supposed to protect
Left me lifeless with neglect
When my dreams turn to ash
And all I seem to do is rehash…
When I bleed just to feel
And I question what is real
You are there
You are there
Even when I don’t care
You are there
You are there
When this world has become a scare
You are there
You are there
For Me!
