You Are the Diamond Crafted To Cut My Heart

I was walking along the edge of the world
Untill the day i met you my dear
It seemed like the edge of the world had ended
But It was just lost somewhere
Behind Your beauty I guess
The day you left me Ive been walkin on the edges again
Memories with you the fun and laughter
Every cold night with tears in eyes the refrain

I know i dont want to show that I still love you
I know that it would not matter to you at all, even if i die
But still in my heart in my brain i feel it
I feel a certain fear that i need to let you know
At least try once again before I die
Seems like im about to, Its this day or the next
Till this day, Theres nothing that ive done, nothing i even tried
To make you believe me and my love, i crushed my heart and cried
But that would do a thing, it wouldnt help me against you
The self esteem of yours is like a diamond that cant be cut
I suppose diamond are to cut the diamond
But the diamond that you are, The only one you are
No diamond as such can cut you apart
You are the diamond crafted to cut my heart

Interesting analogy, using a diamond to cut your heart. Sad poem, well written, Anuj!
