You Are My Rock
I woke up today and realized
how much You do for me.
I thank you for this new day
and this heart that helps me see.
I look at my life differently.
My direction turned around.
The happiness I sought in this world
has finally been found.
I didn't find it in possesions.
Didn't know what I was looking for.
I knew there was something missing.
As I searched for something more.
When at last you found me.
So lost and so confused.
You gave me what I searched for
in that old life I had abused.
You made it unconditional
as you opened up my mind.
Your love gave me more peace
than I ever hoped to find.
Peace of mind was what I needed
and I didn't even know.
I thank you for this blessing
and for the love that makes it so.
I know I don't always say it
and that you know how much I do.
But I want everyone else to know it Lord.
You are my rock and I love you
