You Are My Home

I wish that I could take a Kodak
and be able to really take you back with me
I wish that this moment could last forever
while we take advantage of
this perfect cuddling weather
Sitting here in each other’s arms
chair reclined
and blanket on us
watching movies from when we were kids
They say
that home is where the heart is
and quite simply
my home is where you are
You are my comfort,
my sanity,
my happy thoughts
and hope
The one person in which I can confide
and never have to hide
a single part of me
You are my home
and you are where my heart is
