You Are Mine Sayeth the Lord

"You can trust in me for I am the Lord, You are fastened to me by a spiritual cord, You are Mine and Mine alone", Thus whispers my God from His heavenly home. Yes, God is my Life and my Love, He sees to my every need from Heaven above, He loves me completely and forever, Yet, to me, His touch is just like a feather. Yet sometimes, He lets illness be my fate, To teach me a lesson between Love and hate, He teaches that only Love can heal me, Hate can only sicken, and never, ever free me. When I think that everything is His, It blows my mind sometimes, to go along with this, Yet, this relieves me of all that pride, When I realized He gave me Life when I should have died. "You can trust in Me for I am the Lord, You are tied to Me by a spiritual cord, You are Mine for all eternity", thus whispers my Lord.
