You Are Late Viator
You lost your phone and you’re late,
not to mention it’s the work sign on.
Clinched hands begin to tremble.
Not now, not ever. Wow, what timing!
Imagine this nightmare unfolding,
you lost your phone and you’re late.
All at once the world is crumbling
one thousand boulders start rolling.
Shock and anxiety stroke your mind,
as thoughts drift to miniature horrors.
You lost your phone and you’re late,
a cartoon style amplifier of reality.
No alarm clock, no GPS, no apps.
Oh my god what have I done?
Paranoid this is utterly unfixable,
you lost your phone and you’re late.
