You Are In My Dream
You are in my dream…
And you know who you are…
I am always waiting and hoping..
But I know, and you don‘t have to say…
I am only there
To admire you from afar…
You are in my dream
A chance meeting, I guess you could say…
What else would it be called?
A simple ‘hi’ or ‘hello’ or ‘hey’..
I had wanted to do it for a while…
But never knowing what to say…
You are in my dream
We are far apart…
A mile…or two..or three..
I don’t know exactly…it all leaves my knowledge..a sorted blur
And I don’t care…
Cause in my mind, I know
I am there…
When I cast my gaze upon you--your smile, your eyes, your stare
And then I melt
My knees get weak, and my heart skips a beat…
And I know
You are in my dream
I know someday , it will happen…
But only if you still think of me the same
And how I long for that moment…
To touch you..your hand, your hair, your face…
To smell you, to feel you, to pull you close..
And to kiss you…
Those sweet tender lips…
A kiss that will never end…
And last forever…
A kiss that will keep you safe
And an embrace that will hold you close to my heart…
You are in my dream
