You Are Holding Us Back

Neither you or I can get our blessing,
Because of the way you are living.
God made you to be the head of the household.
Yes, he made you to be the man of the house.
Yep, he already picked you a spouse,
And one for me too. We are supposed to be
A family. Our children are depending on you.
So you need to do what God wants you to do.
I still care about you, but I cannot do anything,
At this point but pray for you like I always do.
I will continue even after you make the decision,
To be what you are designed to be. We have so,
Much to be thankful for now , but God wants us
To have much more. He has so much in store,
For you. He has so much He wants to give us ,
Together. Please Lord let him know that no failure,
Is final. Right now, he needs to know that he,
Is part of a team, and he is holding us back from
The full blessing. Help him Lord to be the real man,
Of the house that you made him to be. Lord, get him
And show him, how to lead our family correctly.

We don't always get what we pray for. Just Thank Your Creator for all that has already been given to you and wonderful things will follow ... your heart is already known. Thanks for bringing your writing to the Soup, Nicole.

Lovely write, a heartfelt poem put to verse. As soon as your words were uttered the Lord will move. Sometimes it takes a while to see because he does not always answer the way we want him to. He answers in ways that are best for his children. Sorry for writing so much your poem touched me this morning. Keep writing. A. W. Nutter www.freewebs.com
