You Are Constantly There

You are constantly there, When I don’t want you to be You are a part of me, a big part of me And you stay with me all the time I try to get rid of you, to help you, But you don’t want to go; you don’t want to leave me. I have little help that you will get better, no hope. You break, making me break. I try everything, so you don’t have to. I try things that will help, But they don’t. You stay the way you are; you are still a part of me When I am going to get rid of you? To get a break? To be separated from you? You are controlling my life, I want to live on my own; my own life, But you are getting in the way. I can’t do anything without you there. You are like my shadow, Constantly attached. There is nothing that I can say to you, To make you see, How I feel about you.. Even all the pain and tears I cry and still you never say goodbye, I now know how far you go to get me to notice you, I do, I do notice you. I notice you all the time. You will be with me forever But I don’t want you to be. You’re the one thing that stops me, stops me from living my life. I want to turn things all around, for them to be different. You need me, but I don’t need you. I want to be apart but you keep coming back. Without you, I can’t breathe, How can I get you to leave? Without me, you don’t know what to do, You will leave me, I want you to. I need you to; I will be, one day... Without you..
