You Are

You’re the air that I breathe
The food that sustains me
You’re the reason I live
Without you I wouldn’t be.

You’re the smile on my lips
The laughter in my heart
Without you near me
I seem to fall apart.

You’re the reason I stand tall
No longer am I afraid
Only when you’re not here
I somehow seem to fade.

Please hurry back my love
I do not feel I’m whole
Because you make me who I am
You are my heart and soul.
