You and Me
You and me friend
our time has come
no longer we hide
no longer we run
our land has been stripped
from beneath our feet
this pasture now
a city street
I hunted your brothers
but now they're all gone
the white man came in
and America moved on
so now we sit
in a museum cage
with a painted smile
to hide my rage
though the world around us
may change with time
it still can't show
our heritage climb
