You and Me

You And Me

You and I together at last
I have waited all these years
For you to come along
And I will have no more tears

To you I make this promise
I shall love you until death
It does not even matter
Where I breathe my last breath

To have such a love like this
Is the most amazing thing
It is a great and wonderful gift
I cannot express the joy it brings

So, come and lay down next to me
And love me through the night
We will walk into forever
As the love we share burns bright.
