You and I
When we were younger
I loved you like a brother
So close
You and I
We played together
Forever having fun
So close
You and I
When we started growing up
I loved you like a friend
Still close
You and I
We’d hang out
A little less often
Still close
You and I
When we were teenagers
I loved you like a boyfriend
Unrequited
You and I
We started drifting
Apart from each other
Unrequited
You and I
When we became adults
I loved you like a drug
Addicted
You and I
You stayed away
For you were afraid
Addicted
You and I
When I went away
I still loved you
Unforgiving
You and I
It was my fault
I loved you too much
Unforgiving
You and I
When I’m alone at night
I crave you, still loving you
Hurting
You and I
I broke you
I destroyed you
No more
You and I
