You and I

You and I
Like two parallel lines we stride
True, we can't collide
But, at least,
Can we not be side-by-side

You and I
Like two bicycle pedals we glide
True, we can't be side-by-side
But, at least,
Can we not be in same ride

You and I
Like two jockeys, horses we astride 
True, we can't be on the same ride
But, at least,
Can we not be joint-winners to be race's pride

You and I
Only if we try......

But you should enter it in some other contest when something comes up for which it applies because this is one of your best poems I have read. It is really clever and I like it a lot. LUv, Andrea Ps maybe use it for the big Soup contests sometime.
