You and I

Wish I could redo the past.
And somehow make you and I last!
But the past is the past!
I’m stuck with the memory.
Convincing myself you never cared about me.
Telling myself everything was a lie.
We are now nothing more than goodbye!
I refuse to be stuck in time.
There is no you and I!
