You
You…
I see you everyday
And I can’t find a way to tell you what I feel
I bite my lip; I’m not equipped to tell you true
I bite down hard; it’s gone to far to understand
I can’t hold you, I can’t be held by you
If I’ll get over you it’s hard to tell
You hold my stare without meeting my gaze
And I’m blinded by the glare for what seems like days
…You, it’s been you for so damn long
You, it’s so true
But right is often wrong
You, only you
And nobody knows but me
I’m so weak and I can’t speak the words to you
To set myself free
Maybe if I could tell you
It would be easier to breathe
Maybe if I could tell you
It would be easier to see
Maybe if I could tell you
Just maybe…
I wonder to myself if you’re suspect of me
If what I feel inside is obvious to see
We’re from two different worlds
Your life and mine
But I’m holding your image so close all the time
You affect me in so many ways
…You, it’s been you for so damn long
You, it’s so true
But right is often wrong
You, only you
And nobody knows but me
I’m so weak and I can’t speak the words to you
That may finally set me free
