You?

How did I lose you
When I never had you
Only in the crevices of my mind
Were memories of you
While I looked at you
You weren’t even there
I wanted you
But only the thought of you
Only because you
Were too much for me
I never thought that I
Would be enough for you
So why even try
I lost you
The mere memory of you
And all that you
Meant to me
So tell me
How could I lose you
When I never had you
In the first place?
