You, in my arms,
tranquil rest,
I listen to you slumber.
You, safe in my embrace, forever.
No grief shall touch you
while I breathe.
You, I will always shelter,
my shoulder is yours, forever more,
upon me do rest.
Together, we will face this world
a pair, as one.
