You

When I close my eyes and I think of YOU, this battle of you I've already won. But when I open my eyes up to look around, my fight not even begun. I've realized the battle is not with YOU, it lies within me, your wickedness, my hopefulness, I've yet to put to rest. What a lucid dream, to keep dreaming of chasing the same unrealistic thing. I did for so many years, shed so many tears. I have so many regrets, but mostly, the first time we meet. I've grown stronger in this ,but the pain I still feel can't be remissed as I sit and often reminisce. Do you sit perplexed over me, or have you gave me my wings and been set me free? The battle is not with YOU, its within me.
