You

YOU

		BY Charles G.P. Chard 2nd
Chevra Hanita Hazaka Abir Selek 2nd

You made me laugh when I was down,
In your sweet tenderness when no ones around,
Your smile so sweet made me feel so good,
I loved you beyond what I knew I could,
The smell of your hair your tender touch,
O how I miss them so much,
For you have passed on and I’m here alone,
My heart feels hardened a bit like a stone,
Memories keep passing fresh in my mind,
The things we shared, the things so fine,
Once and a while when I’m by myself,
I cry a lot within myself,
You meant the whole world to me,
Now you are no longer here that I may but see,
My darling, my lover, my wife, my friend,
We will be together when my life does end,
You were my better half of all I became,
Now there is nothing lift but loneness and pain,
Sometimes I feel I cannot go on,
Your encouragements, I remember have become my song.
