Yonder
The car was half drunk on gasoline
and there was a case of gin in the back
road maps and railways were leading us astray
high on fumes and caffeine
headed off the wrong track
singing baby, baby let's run away
Don't you remember that dream
lost in a place we never seen
baby let's run on forever
lost in a place we ain't seen
Healers of sins on the radio
ain't got much for their stereo
Pass another Daniels
we've got a long way to go
such a long way to go
Hand claps over vinyl
sandals picking up dust
a bottle of Jack and it's final
we've got a good thing in trust
Fill up the car with gasoline
let's head back off before they find us
I hear the west is lovely this time
rolling away on rust
