Yesterday's Rain

today's pain
is only
yesterday's rain
disappearing
down the drain
swirling
endlessly
round and round
sucking
draining
upchucking
complaining
until tears
are the only raindrops
remaining
yesterday's rain
no gain
all pain
despised
insane
disguised in a deep dark
bloodshot stain
