Yesterday's Joys

Yesterday's joys come flooding back,
memories that stir the senses
that leave me bereft for their lack.

Yet still their joy punches a whack,
that set a stir in my pulses.
Yesterday's joys come flooding back.

And so I gather up my sack,
full to brim with loving senses
that leave me bereft for their lack.

Joyous feeling my heart do rack
once more loving without lapses.
Yesterday's joys come flooding back.

No longer dressed in dark black,
I, now leave behind all senses
that leave me bereft for their lack.

Stuffed full of joyful glimpses,
my sack holds passionate senses.
Yesterday's joys come flooding back
that leave me bereft for their lack.
