With all the problems we have, I fully expect trick or treat to end while I am still around. so far, I have been pleased and surprised that, every year, I have always had a few. It renews my faith in mankind honoring tradition.
Yesterday Was Halloween By Franklin Price 11/01/2019 Yesterday was Halloween Trick-or-treaters came around The weather made it questionable Rain on tin roof, was the sound It rained all day until the dark I thought there would not be Kids in costumes coming up To my lighted porch for me About the time I'd given up Heard footsteps at the door Grabbed the bowl of candy That I'd purchased at the store I opened up, with smiling face And looked out on the same There were little ghosts and goblins At my door to play the game Three of them held out their bowls And I gave them quite a lot A fourth was in his mama's arms Was only just a tot I saw he also had a bowl And dropped some candy there He could share it with his mom I'm sure he would not care I thanked them all profusely For trick-or-treaters make things right Only two more came along But six still made my night All came with both their parents Which made my heart feel good Participated all together As good goblin families should
