Yesterday Morning

It was raining heavily,
struck by lightning,
and frozen rain from the sky.
Some people were sleeping
because of coldness,
and others were looking
as the world was cold.
The houses were seeing
what was going ahead,
and no smiles from them.
The sun was blocked,
no sunshine from the sky,
and the sky itself was blank
without birds and planes.
The doves were in their nests,
no eagles were flying,
and the roads were cold
and full of running water.
None was complaining
about the situation
till it ceased the workers to work,
and the sailors to sail.
