Yesterday

I remember the days of youth. Sitting on the golden sand watching the waves come and go as they please. Feeling the ocean breeze wash over my skin. I remember the days when we were so carefree. Building sandcastles with motes flowing around the mounds of sand. Listening to the seagulls fly overhead. I remember the nights when i would lay next to you and we would count the stars in the lightly lit sky. Smelling that saltly ocean scent in the air. I remember the late hours we spent just paddling our feet in the chilled water. Watching the sun slowly fade below the horizon. I remember all those moments we use to share there on that beach. Feeling as if time was all that we had. I remember now what i remembered then as if it were only yesterday again.
