Yesterday
I remember Yesterday, it was a very vivid Week
It is as clear as Day, though at first it Seamed quite meek
Wednesday started slow, the Lines ran parallel
Thursday moved along, but Friday was the tell
The weekend ran rough, Monday picked up too
Tuesday was Hardly tough, but Yesterday was the clue
The year went on the same, and followed did I
Only time could Tell, when you would show The Lie
I remember Yesterday, Oh! yes I remember it well
It will stick out in my Mind as the day your morals fell
Friday was the day it Deepened, the years followed suit
Wednesday was the day it Disappeared, and the black took up root
