Yesterday

Sitting listening to the old songs
Time has flown it does not seem that long
Youth has passed in the blink of an eye
Now in these songs our memories lie

We all had that first date
Where we sat in the car until it was late
Listening to what would be our song
Until that romance was finally done

Now each time those words we hear
Those moments come back so clear
Memories of our youth about the past
But it really was an awesome blast

So true, like yesterday. The youth want time to fly, for the ageing it has. I enjoyed your walk down memory lane . I couldn't be online for some time after my eye operation Phyllis. I hope you are well?

Really good Phyllis, very well written, I'll try and look at more of your writing soon. I'm from Scotland, any connections from here? as Babcock is a Scottish name. I read your biography, pleased you're a Christian too as I am, I sometimes watch Crossroads Christian TV on the web and also Charles Price from Toronto on the web. Have a blessed day, Gordon
