Yesterday

I’ve reached the limits of my words
A roadblock I can’t cross
There is nothing for me to say
When your mind’s already been made
I’m stretching my limits as I try to understand
Why you feel this way
It’s so hard to understand when
Life was perfect yesterday
Is there something I can change?
Anything I can do?
I don’t want to feel this way
I can’t stand the thought
Of losing you
I’d do anything if you’d stay
I swear I’d still love you
Just change your mind, decide to stay
I’ll do anything that you ask
I’d climb a thousand mountains
Die a thousand deaths
Just don’t abandon me
Please don’t leave me alone
Just please won’t you tell me
Why it all went wrong?
