Yesterday
:Except that an exotic pendant
should be worn around the neck
not like a piece of jewelry
but as a thing of faith.
your worn-out uniform was
gray, torn and ghreen
but you've been
changing your scene
and isn't that delightful?
You breathed in,
instantly insightful.
The chance that you
might pass up something
colors the skies
which lie before you.
You have your clues now
cast your shadow.
Wear no more the guise
of yesterday,
instead swim silently secure
to the shores across the way
where you may see
the bottom of what lies beneath
the day and you may marvel at how
you could've missed it all before.
Now - there! - is your faith.
